A Message From A&E Straw Founder
I am learning how to live a Low Waste Lifestyle. I want to share my journey with you. I want you to be part of the journey. I want both of us to share the good days and the bad days. I choose a low waste lifestyle because I don't choose to put my trash in a jar to prove to strangers that I live a zero waste lifestyle. A real human being will always make mistakes. I continue to produce trash. The most important thing when living a Low waste lifestyle is that I choose to take small steps to reduce my waste. It's okay to mess up! It's bound to happen. But, be open to learning and asking questions. Let's all support one another in this. We are all in this together. Let us encourage each other so we can make this a huge movement. This place accepts mistakes. This is not a competition.

A&E Turns 1
July 25, 2018
we did it! Yes, us! Those of you who have supported my Etsy Shop since day one! My sister for believing in me and reassuring me that the idea was a great one. Learning how to sew by watching YouTube videos. Planning and hosting my first beach cleanup. Bringing awareness to plastic pollution. The support from family, friends and parents and youth from Fresno! My first Collaboration with The Bu kombucha Company and Salinas Valley Recycle. Sharing a positive movement with svcc831, jota effectus inviting me to be part of my first panel. Thank you! It was amazing and I’m happy to have met a group of talented woman. @stopworldpollution for giving me the platform to speak to people from around the world. I’ve cried throughout this journey because it’s not easy. Many times I felt like giving up when I meet people who don’t feel the need to make a change. But at the end of the day. It’s the youth who I cannot give up on.
